Most important first · tap to expandAt a network hospital, the insurer must decide on cashless within 1 hour of the hospital's request, and give final approval within 3 hours of the discharge request; any extra charge from a delay is the insurer's. A reimbursement claim must be settled within 15 days of submitting it; if late, with interest at the bank rate + 2%. The insurer or TPA collects the documents from the hospital. A claim can be rejected only with the insurer's claims review committee's approval, and a part rejection has to cite the clause. With more than one policy, you choose which pays first.
