What ₹5,00,000 really means
4 conditions decide what's paidEach person insured has this sum insured of their own. What decides the amount paid: a single private room only; a costlier room cuts other charges in proportion; co-pay of 20% on every claim; 2 treatments with a cap below the sum insured; consumables (gloves, PPE kits…) not paid. On an example bill of ₹2,12,000 (4 days in a ₹6,000-a-day room), the policy would pay about ₹1,63,200 and you ₹48,800; the Hospital bill studio lets you change every line. The insurer decides what's admissible on a real claim.

| Consumables not paid | −₹8,000 | ₹2,04,000 |
